Refund Policy

— REFUND/CANCELATION POLICY – READ CAREFULLY —

Cancelations must be made by telephone 855-226-1115 or email.

Tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before departure time. Within 48 hours of departure time, tickets are not refundable but riders will be issued a gift certificate for future use. Refunds will be minus a $10 cancelation fee (this covers the cost your bank charges us for the credit card transaction).

In the event that American Railbike Adventures cancels the ride, for any reason, we will issue a 100% refund.

Customers removed from our rail bikes due to violating safety policies will not be given a refund.

No-shows will not be given a refund or credit.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IT RAINS?

In the case of heavy rain, all rail bike excursions will be cancelled. If any type of steady, heavy rain occurs or if thunderstorms occur, the rail bike excursion will be cancelled. Customers will be notified by phone, text and email the morning of departure. Customers will be given the option of rescheduling or a full refund.

In the case of light rain (such as showers, sprinkles, or mist) customers will be given the option of continuing with the rail bike excursion, rescheduling, or a refund. Customers should bring umbrellas and wear ponchos. Customers will be notified by phone, text and email the morning of departure.

We hope you understand that we do not control the weather but will do our best to notify customers as soon as possible of a rain cancelation. 

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFO: American Rail Bike Adventures reserves the right to refuse service to persons we believe may be injured while riding a rail bike. We will do our best to accommodate persons with mobility issues, however, persons with frail bones or temporary physical injuries (broken hips, legs, etc.) may seriously injure themselves while riding a rail bike. If service is refused, customers will be refunded. We do NOT take risks with the safety of our customers.
